It is not common for bidders to intentionally withdraw bids in auctions. Bidders typically participate in auctions with the intention of winning the item or property being auctioned. Withdrawing a bid can result in penalties or being banned from future auctions, so bidders are usually committed to their bids unless there are exceptional circumstances. Overall, intentional bid withdrawals are rare in auction settings. **

Bids on eBay typically start when a seller lists an item for auction. The seller sets a starting price, and potential buyers can place bids on the item. The bidding process continues until the auction ends, at which point the highest bidder wins the item. However, some sellers may also choose to offer items for sale at a fixed price, in which case bidding is not required. **

There could be several reasons why there are no bids on an eBay listing. It's possible that the item is overpriced or not in high demand. The listing may also have poor quality photos or a lack of detailed information, which can deter potential buyers. Additionally, the timing of the listing may not be ideal, as it could be competing with similar items or posted during a slow period for online shopping. Finally, the seller's reputation or feedback score may also play a role in the lack of bids. **

If there are over 20 observers but no bids, it could indicate that there is a lack of interest or willingness to participate in the auction. This could be due to various reasons such as the item being auctioned not meeting the expectations of potential bidders, or the starting price being too high. It may also suggest that the item is not perceived as valuable or desirable by potential bidders. In such a situation, the auctioneer may need to reassess the item being auctioned and consider adjusting the starting price or marketing strategy to generate more interest and potential bids. **
